12-Book Expansion Canon Update
New Expansion Information Integrated
Updated from the JSX Bible source. The expansion lock is 37 new book slots, 26 finalized Grigori/practitioner bonds, and 11 ensemble/plot books. OS12 remains the Order finale. SC12 remains the Restoration finale.
Expansion Lock
The New Thresholds Enter the Gate Record
All 37 added book slots add new passage conditions: quarry, shadow, waning moon, fog, dust, hidden water, threshold, empty places, and purity. The Nasilin serve those passages under the Bone Mother; they do not claim them.
Seventh Cycle Control
SC9–SC11 Prepare the Final Door
SC9 maps the space between definitions. SC10 refuses purity-by-erasure. SC11 names the last condition. SC12 remains the Restoration finale after those threshold truths are witnessed.
Theology Control
Threshold Is Not Ownership
A gate exists so passage can be witnessed correctly. Every new threshold must serve consent, not control.
Origin
They are not death. They are passage.
Before Territory
The Bang · The Gates Came Forward
At the Bang — when Sano pulled the space-dust together into ten spheres inside a huge eleventh — the assembled factions came to awareness and demanded answers. Among the voices were the Nasilin: the 12 Gatesprimordial beasts. Where the Voljeti are the Keys (the lock) and the Davos are the Bars (the cell), the Nasilin are the Gates: the living doors of the threshold, the architecture through which all passage moves.
What They Are
Primordial Beasts of the Threshold
The Nasilin are primordial beasts — not forces like the Arcana, not force-made-flesh like the Dzin, but ancient beast-natures whose being IS the gate. They are the doors of creation given living shape: the thresholds between states, between layers, between life and what lies past it. To pass from one condition of existence to another is to pass through a Nasilin. They are the door in the Bone Mother’s lock-door-cell.
Who They Answer To
Serving No One but the Bone Mother
The defining fact of the Nasilin: they serve no one but the Bone Mother. Of all the founding factions, the Gates answer to a single authority alone — the Master Gatekeeper herself. Not the brothers, not the assembly, not any compact. The Gates and the Gatekeeper are one system: she is the keeper of all passage, and the Nasilin are the passages she keeps. Their loyalty is absolute and singular.

Servants of the Bone Mother
The Master Gatekeeper
The Gates and the Gatekeeper
The Bone Mother is the Master Gatekeeper and Keeper of the Archive — and the Nasilin are her Gates. This is not a coincidence of titles; it is one unified system. She keeps the threshold of all passage — death, transition, memory, continuity, grief — and the twelve Nasilin ARE those thresholds, the living doors she stands over. When a soul crosses through the death-frequency into her Realm, it passes through a Nasilin to do it.
The Lock, Door, Cell
The Gates in the Threefold Order
The Bone Mother oversees the three twelves of the threshold system: the Keys (Voljeti), the Gates (Nasilin), and the Bars (Davos)the lock, the door, and the cell. The Nasilin are the DOOR: the actual threshold that opens and closes. The Voljeti’s Keys set the lawful terms by which a Gate turns; the Davos’s Bars are what must be held shut. The Gates stand between — the passage itself, governed by the Keys, holding back what the Bars contain.
Sacred Law
No Passage Unwitnessed
The Nasilin serve the Bone Mother’s sacred law: no being should pass through loss, death, grief, or transition entirely alone. The Gates are how she keeps that law structural — every lawful passage crosses a witnessed threshold, protected from unwitnessed disappearance, post-death severance, and Abyssal consumption. The Gates are not merely doors; they are guarded doors, and the guard is the Bone Mother’s care made architecture.
The Closed Gate
When the Threshold Shut
The deepest fact of the Seventh Cycle: the Bone Mother’s Gate has been closed the entire cycle. A soul must pass her Gate and make First Contact to find the Path Awareness Frequency — but with the Gate sealed, most souls never find the Path. They wander the Elevated Physical State and most fall instead through Nepisano’s insanity-door into Heaven or Hell. The closed Nasilin gate is the precise mechanism by which the two parallel worlds swelled into parallel universes. When the Gates are shut, the whole architecture of lawful passage fails.
The Threshold
Uranus
The Gates’ Territory
When territories were apportioned, the Nasilin took Uranus — the sphere just inward of the Bone Mother’s own Neptune. The Gates settled nearest their Gatekeeper. Of all the founding factions, the Nasilin and the Bone Mother are the closest neighbors, because the door and its keeper belong together: she settled on Neptune, and her Gates took the world beside her, the threshold-worlds at the deep edge of the apportioned spheres.
The Edge
Nearest the Dark
Uranus and Neptune sit at the outer reaches of the ten spheres — closest to the boundary, closest to what lies beyond creation. The Gates stand where passage matters most: at the deep edge, where the threshold between the inner worlds and the outer dark is thinnest. The Nasilin are positioned as the last lawful doors before the boundary, the Bone Mother’s thresholds held at the frontier of the known.
Beasts, Not Builders
Why They Are Beasts
The Nasilin are beasts, not architects or forces — and the distinction matters. The Voljeti BUILT the law of passage (the Keys); the Nasilin ARE the passage (the Gates). A beast does not design or negotiate; it simply IS what it is, with the whole weight of its primordial nature. A Nasilin is a door the way a mountain is a height — not a made thing but a given one, ancient and absolute, answering only to the one who keeps it.
The Distinction
Gates vs the Davos Bars
The Nasilin (Gates) and the Davos (Bars) must not be confused. Both are at the deep edge; both are primordial; both are part of the threshold system. But the Nasilin are lawful doors that serve the Bone Mother, while the Davos are the original corrupted — the Bars, the cell, the contained. The Gate opens lawfully; the Bar holds shut what corrupted itself. One is the Bone Mother’s faithful threshold; the other is what her threshold-system was built, in part, to contain.
Standing Canon
Locked Canon
What Is Fixed
The Nasilin are twelve. The 12 Gatesprimordial beasts who serve no one but the Bone Mother. Territory: Uranus (taken when the Bone Mother settled on Neptune). They are the Gates (the door) in the threshold system’s lock-door-cell: Keys / Gates / Bars = Voljeti / Nasilin / Davos. As the Master Gatekeeper’s living doors, they are the architecture of all lawful passage — death, transition, memory, grief, continuity. These points are fixed by the cosmogony and The Codex.
Open / Reserved
Held for Later
The threshold-titles of the twelve (the First Gate, the Gate of Death, and so on) are an organizing scaffold built from the Bone Mother’s stewardship; the names and beast-forms are canon: I Agron (Dragon, big enough to swallow a planet), II Toohl (Cerberus), III Kato (Sphinx), IV Geht (Mammoth), V Kumu (Harpy), VI Mede (Minotaur), VII Alinga (Gorgon), VIII Mako (Arachnid), IX Neno (Unicorn), X Anayim (Phoenix), XI Dongo (Sabertooth), XII Agiki (Kiro, a demon cat with three tails). Note on Agron: the master Origin describes the primordial beast Agron — ‘big enough to eat a planet’ — as the form Hecate shaped the clay after when she made the Leviathan; Agron (the First Gate) is that same planet-swallowing dragon-beast — meaning the Leviathan, Gaia’s first real creation, was modeled on the first of the Bone Mother’s Gates. The matching of each Gate to its threshold-title, and any Nasilin who step onto the page, are reserved for development. Naming note: the Origin records the faction as Nasilan; The Codex uses Nasilin.
Authority
Where This Sits
This faction bible specializes and displays canon; it does not supersede The Codex (universe_canon_bible.jsx). The cosmogony master (THE ORIGIN) and the theology bible are the upstream sources for every Nasilin fact above. Where this file and The Codex ever differ, The Codex wins.
