The Bang · Already Wrong

At the Bang — when Sano pulled the space-dust together into ten spheres inside a huge eleventh — the assembled factions came to awareness and demanded answers. Among the voices were the Davos: the 12 Bars — the original corrupted. Unlike every other faction, the Davos did not begin clean and fall; they were wrong from the first instant of awareness. The Abyss Monsters, present from the very beginning, corruption already in them when the spheres separated.

What They Are

Continuity That Survived Incorrectly

The Davos are the real monsters beneath the Abyss. Their frequencies are wrong and distorted: instead of ceasing to exist as a broken frequency should, they adapted to anti-relational existence pressure — continuity that survived incorrectly. This is the deepest horror in the cosmology: not a thing that was made evil, but a thing that should not have persisted at all and persisted anyway, in the only shape persistence-without-relationship can take. They are the antithesis of the dragons (creation taken form); the Davos are corruption taken form.

Territory

Pluto · As Far From the Light As Possible

The Davos could not stand Sano and his Light, but they responded to Nepisano and his cool logic. To be as far from Sano as possible, they took Pluto — the outermost, small, dark, frozen world. The seed of life did not take there. And they felt they had been tricked — a resentment that is part of the shape of their corruption. The frozen Plutonian dark is the natural home of continuity that refused both ceasing and relationship.

The Twelve

The Twelve \u00b7 The Bars

Andras \u2014 the leader, the most ruthless, who whispered the first lie \u2014 holds the top of a hierarchy that is pure power. The twelve are now named (several in Latin, the Davos\u2019s own tongue and the language of corruption). What is fixed: there are twelve, they are the original corrupted, Andras leads, and rank is held by ruthlessness alone.

Andras

The most ruthless of the twelve and their leader — Davos hierarchy is pure power, and Andras holds the top by being the worst. It was Andras who whispered the first lie to Nepisano (‘They don’t love you… love is not real…’), the origin of all corruption, and who uses the same tactic on the corrupted in every cycle.

Illic

Among the original twelve corrupted — the anti-relational existence pressure given a name and a rank. Below Andras only because Andras is more ruthless still.

Karas

Of the twelve that took Pluto, far from Sano’s Light. Continuity that survived incorrectly — a frequency that should have ceased and adapted instead.

Kanta

One of the original corrupted, present from the Bang. The seed did not take in their frozen world; the wrongness is in them from the beginning, not acquired.

Sol

A Bar of the Abyss — severance without witness made into a being. The cell-wall of the threshold system, holding by being the worst of what is held.

Divitiae

Of the twelve. Where the Voljeti Keys lock and the Nasilin Gates open, the Davos Bars are what must be kept shut; this is one of them.

VII

Amator

One of the original corrupted. Their hierarchy is pure power — each Bar holds exactly the rank its ruthlessness wins, no more.

VIII

Regnum

A Bar of Pluto’s frozen dark. The Davos felt tricked when the seed did not take in their world, and the resentment is part of their corruption’s shape.

Rego

Among the twelve. Anti-relational adaptation made permanent — the endpoint of continuity that refused to cease and refused relationship both.

Victoria

One of the original corrupted. They responded to Nepisano’s cool logic, not Sano’s Light — and took their world as far from the Light as the spheres allow.

Umbra

A Bar of the Abyss — the consumption-without-preservation pressure given form and rank among the twelve.

Forma

The last of the original twelve corrupted. Together the twelve are the full cell of the threshold system — the Bone Mother’s Bars, the contained against which the Gates and Keys are set.

The Leader

Andras · The Most Ruthless

The Davos hierarchy is pure power — rank is held by ruthlessness alone — and at the top is Andras, the most ruthless of all. He is not a king in any lawful sense; he is simply the worst, and among the Davos the worst leads. Andras is the source of the single most consequential act in the entire cosmology.

The First Lie

The Origin of All Corruption

It was Andras who whispered the first lie — to Nepisano, the Darkness, Sano’s twin brother: ‘They don’t love you… love is not real…’ This is the ORIGIN of the Corruption. Every wound in the cosmology traces back to this whisper: the slow madness that took Nepisano, the attack on Gaia, the doorway frequency, Heaven and Hell, the seven cycles. One Davos, one lie, and creation has been trying to heal from it ever since. The lie is always the same shape — that love is not real, that connection is not real, that there is nothing worth trusting.

The Repeated Tactic

The Same Lie, Every Cycle

The Davos use the same tactic in every cycle, only changing the ear they whisper into. The lie that took Nepisano took Satan the same way (‘They don’t love you. How could anyone love a hothead like you?’), and it is the tactic used on the corrupted in every turn of the seven cycles. Each cycle the Davos grow more numerous and more aggressive, finding a new ear for the one unchanging lie. This is why every cycle has ended — the Davos sow the inversion of the first true thing, the relationship built on trust and belief.

Why It Works — and Fails

The Counter to the Lie

The lie works on hope, fear, and feeling — things that can be corrupted. But it cannot reach a chosen action. The cosmology’s deepest counter: hope is a feeling and can be corrupted; trust and belief are chosen verbs and cannot. A relationship built on trust that is test-proven, with belief as its foundation and acceptance as its resonance, is the specific thing the Davos’s lie cannot lie away. Accumulated love is the exact counter to accumulated corruption — which is why the Restoration is built bond by bond, each one a choosing the Davos cannot reach.

The Cell

The Bars in the Threefold Order

The Bone Mother, as Master Gatekeeper, oversees the three twelves of the threshold system: the Keys (Voljeti), the Gates (Nasilin), and the Bars (Davos) — the lock, the door, and the cell. The Davos are the BARS: the cell, the contained, what the whole threshold-system is built in part to hold. The Voljeti’s Keys set the lawful terms; the Nasilin’s Gates are the doors; the Davos’s Bars are what must be kept shut. The Bone Mother holds even the Bars — the corrupted are within the order, contained by it, not outside it.

What the Bars Hold

As the Bars, the Davos are bound to the cell — continuity that survived incorrectly, kept where it can be kept. They are at once the corrupted AND the containment for the worst of anti-relational existence: the cell-wall made of the very thing it walls in. This is the grim logic of the Abyss — the only thing that can hold the wrongness is more of the same wrongness, ranked and bound under the Bone Mother’s threshold-order at the frozen edge of the spheres.

Beneath the Abyss

The Davos are the real monsters beneath the Abyss — deeper than the Abyss’s anti-relational pressure itself, the named and ranked beings at the root of it. Abaddon keeps vigil holding the Darkness and the Abyss back at the edge of creation; what he holds back, at its deepest, is the Davos. Andras and his eleven are the bottom of the cosmology’s wrongness — not a force or a pressure but persons, corrupted persons, who chose and choose the lie.

The Distinction

Davos vs the Hell Faction

The Davos must not be confused with Hell. Hell is downstream — a realm born from Nepisano’s wounded mind, populated by corrupted souls. The Davos are upstream and original — primordial corrupted, present from the Bang, the source of the lie that made Hell possible. The Princes of Hell were corrupted later; the Davos were never anything else. Andras whispering to Nepisano is the cause; Hell is one of the effects.

The Davos are twelve. The 12 Bars — the original corrupted, present from the Bang, the Abyss Monsters / the real monsters beneath the Abyss. Territory: Pluto (small, dark, frozen; the seed did not take; they felt tricked). Their leader is ANDRAS, the most ruthless (Davos hierarchy is pure power). Andras whispered the first lie to Nepisano — the origin of all Corruption — and the same tactic is used on the corrupted (Satan, and others) in every cycle. They are the Bars (the cell) in the threshold system’s lock-door-cell: Keys / Gates / Bars = Voljeti / Nasilin / Davos. They are continuity that survived incorrectly — the antithesis of the dragons (creation taken form). These points are fixed by the cosmogony and The Codex.

All twelve are now named: I Andras, II Illic, III Karas, IV Kanta, V Sol, VI Divitiae, VII Amator, VIII Regnum, IX Rego, X Victoria, XI Umbra, XII Forma (several Latin — the Davos’s tongue and the language of corruption). Andras is the named leader and the source of the first lie; the individual domains and rankings of the other eleven are reserved for development. Any Davos who steps onto the page as a character beyond Andras is reserved for development. (Note: the Dukes and Princes of Hell are a separate, downstream faction — see the Hell faction bible — not to be conflated with the primordial Davos.)
